Palmdale, a small town of less than 200,000 people, is located in Los Angeles County, a few hours northeast of the city. Desert Aire Golf Course is a regulation size 9-hole course, in Antelope Valley. This course is great for the whole family, from novice to professional. One of the cool things about Desert Aire is the House of Golf pro shop that also has a golf simulator.

Rancho Vista Golf Course is about more than just golf. This 18-hole lush “oasis” was designed by Ted Robinson years ago, and certainly lives up to that reputation. You can become a member of the Player’s Club, or just stop by for a few rounds while you’re in town.

Antelope Valley Country Club is a typical, classic and challenging golf course that was built in the mid-fifties. Bill Bell, Sr. is responsible for the design of this 18-hold regulation green. While challenging at a 72 par for the course, it is more than just a challenging golf experience. The luxurious amenities at Antelope Valley include five tennis courts and a grand swimming pool. They happily offer memberships, private lessons, and a variety of other amenities to suit your fancy.

It is not too far from the city or the beach, but it is far enough out of the urban mayhem to give you the opportunity to relax.
